Changes in Marijuana
In the 1970s and 1980s, the average THC concentration in marijuana was between 1% and 3%. By the 1990s it had climbed to around 4%. Today, the average THC concentration in marijuana sold at licensed dispensaries sits between 20% and 30% and concentrated products like wax, shatter, and dabs can reach 90% THC or higher. This is an unnatural evolution.
