About the event
Dispose of expired or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 22, at Operation Medicine Drop, Jackson Township Fire Station, 3650 Hoover Road. The service is free and anonymous.
Pay attention to potential health hazards and safety issues; dispose of medications in a safe and environmentally protective manner.
- Accepted medications: prescription, over-the-counter and pet medications in pill, powder or patch form. All medications should be placed in a clear, sealed bag.
- Not accepted: Needles, lancets, syringes, inhalers, aerosols, liquids, creams and pastes.
Operation Medicine Drop is sponsored by the City of Grove City, United States Drug Enforcement Administration, Grove City Division of Police, Jackson Township Fire Department, Keep Grove City Beautiful and Giant Eagle.
